Sarah Bozsik, LISW-S

Sarah joined Caring for Kids in June of 2011 as a Birth Parent Counselor after completing her Master’s Degree in Social Work at The University of Akron. In her role as Program Director, she is able to support adoptive families and her staff. Her goal is to help everyone feel supported in their adoption journey and she is always open to stepping back into the Birth Parent Counselor role when needed. Sarah enjoys advocacy work and helping social workers grow in their skills and knowledge. She is passionate about ensuring that any plan put in place is, above all else, what is best for the child. Helping families involved with this process grow in their understanding is what motivates her. 

Sarah is married and has two children. Adoption is part of her life outside of work as many family members and friends have built or grown their families by opening their hearts and homes to adoption and foster care. She is grateful to be part of such a beautiful choice in both her professional and personal life.
