Caring for Kids (CFK) is a private, non-profit, full-service adoption and foster care agency specializing in diverse and inclusive birth parent, foster care, adoption, and behavioral health services.


By utilizing our rental space for your next business meeting, private party, or community event, your donations go directly toward supporting our agency and the families we serve! Space is available during the business day, evenings, and weekends

We offer affordable, competitive rates for all of our spaces, and every dollar you spend goes directly toward supporting our adoption and foster care services! Please review our fee schedule and standard rental agreement below to find the best fit for your next event.

FAQ for Event Space

Caring for Kids is a non-profit Foster Care, Adoption and Behavioral Health Agency. We have a beautiful space that we want to share with the community for your next off site business meeting, game night, adoption finalization, kids’ birthday party etc. Renting this space will help us better serve the foster, adoptive, and birth parents in the community! See the pictures tab for ideas and feel free to schedule a tour in person before renting it.

  • Q: Can we see the space before committing to booking?

    A: Yes, please call 330-928-0044 or email events@cfkadopt.org to set up an appointment or to ask any additional questions. Feel free to discuss how to customize your event!

  • Q: Can we bring in our own food/catering?

    A: Yes! Bring your own food, catering, food trucks- whatever you would like. Many local options around us! There is a full-size refrigerator and microwave to use as well. 

  • Q: Can we decorate the space?

    A: Yes- feel free to bring in your own decorations, theme décor, paper products to best go with your event. We ask to only use painter tape and sticky tack on the walls. 

  • Q: Is there a maximum number of kids in the crash and bump room?

    A: We recommend 8-10 kids in the crash and bump room at one time. However, there is plenty of room in other areas of the party for more kids. 

  • Q: Is there accessibility for people with disabilities?

    A: Yes, there is wheelchair access throughout the building. 

  • Q: What is parking like?

    A: There is plenty of space to park around the building. There is outdoor space and back parking lot if want to be outside. (See pictures)   

  • Q: What is included in the base package?

    A: We will provide all the tables and chairs. You will have access to smart boards and outlets. There is a kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, microwave and sink. You will need to provide all paper products/silverware, etc. There is a full list of add-ons you can include for your event for an additional price.  

  • Q: How do I reserve the date of my event?

    A: Once a date and time have been agreed upon, a $150.00 deposit will be needed to reserve your date and time. That deposit will be part of your total payment, and is non-refundable.

  • Q: What is the cancellation policy?

    A: If you have to cancel the event the deposit is non-refundable.

  • Q: Can I change the date once it is scheduled?

    A:  Yes, prior to seven days we are happy to work with you on changing the date/ adjusting the time if possible, with CFK’s schedule. 

  • Q: When is the final payment due?

    A: The final payment is due one week prior to the event. You may pay using cash, check, or credit card.

All donations/funds will be used to provide much needed services/goods for the foster families, birth parents, and adoptive families that we work with. This can include crisis assistance for families during an especially difficult time, food assistance, additional support services and many other things. Caring for Kids appreciates your support!
