Hello, and thank you for taking the time to learn about our family! There are truly no words that can fully express the gratitude we feel as we write to you. The courage, love, and selflessness it takes to consider an adoption plan is something we deeply admire and will never take for granted. If we are fortunate enough to be a part of your child’s life, please know that your presence and your story will always be woven into theirs. Should you choose us to walk this journey with you, we will raise your child with love, respect, and care. They will always know how loved they are—by us and by you. Thank you for considering us to be part of your child’s life. Your bravery and compassion are a gift.
We met through mutual friends, and from the beginning, something just clicked!
It’s funny to think that we were crossing paths without even realizing it—living nearby, sharing common circles, even enjoying the same activities—yet somehow never meeting. But when we finally did, the timing felt perfect.
We were drawn together not only by shared interests but also by a shared vision for life. We both dreamed of building a family, staying active, and enjoying the little things—like exploring Cleveland’s amazing food scene, spending time with our friends and family, and doing what we love. We were, and continue to be, inseparable!
We soon moved in together with our beloved pets and found our perfect home. We married in a private ceremony and later hosted the celebration of our lives, surrounded by our family and friends (and great music!).
Looking back, it’s clear that we found each other exactly when we were meant to. Every day since has been filled with love, growth, and the joy of sharing life together.

Rachel is an intervention specialist with a Bachelor's in Special Education and a Master's in Educational Leadership.
In her free time, she likes to read, garden, and spend time with family and friends.
“What I love most about Rachel is her openness. She naturally draws people in and makes them feel seen and heard. Rachel is the rock of our home and keeps me grounded. We have been together for about three years and have experienced many ups and downs. Whether she is supporting me through loss or celebrating our wins, she is always by my side. Rachel will make an excellent mother and will provide a loving and safe environment for a child. I have no doubt she will raise strong and resilient children.”

In her free time, Maddie likes to rock climb, go to concerts, cook, and spend time with family.

Maddie is kind to everyone she meets; she approaches people and situations with a positive and friendly attitude that is infectious. She also has the unique and remarkable ability to bring fun to any situation. Every day, she asks, ‘How can we make the day special?’ and then works at bringing joy and happiness to the day. Because of her, I strive to be a better person—more attuned to the positives and more appreciative of the simple and wonderful things in life. I know that these qualities will make Maddie a wonderful and caring mother.”

We live in a vibrant, family-friendly community just outside of Cleveland.
Our town is known for its strong sense of community, diversity, and community events. We also have an excellent school system that Rachel teaches in! We live in a 3 story home with four bedrooms, three and a half baths, and a beautiful yard. Our home is just a short walk from parks, the Metroparks, shops, restaurants, and neighborhood schools. We share our home with our beloved nine-year-old dog, Libby.
In our city, there are
- 7 walkable elementary schools, 2 middle schools, and 1 high school (where Rachel works!)
- 2 public libraries, 15 parks, & 2 public pools
- several local festivals including: Arts Festival, Tree Lighting, Summer Events, and Food Festivals
