Nathan Koenig
Nate is originally from Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh studying History. He went on to Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, IA to become a Lutheran pastor. When Nate moved to Ohio and met his wife, they decided to become foster parents. Eight years later they had adopted six children out of foster care! This passion for finding permanent homes for children led Nate to devote his professional life to recruiting foster parents. For the past nine years, Nate has been recruiting foster homes across Northwest Ohio.
Nate is an avid sports fan and loves all things Wisconsin sports. He is also passionate about soccer and has coached high school girls. Nate believes that all children deserve a safe and loving home. He is committed helping children achieve that permanency. Nate joined Caring For Kids as WWK Recruiter in June of 26.
