We have shared 8 incredible years married together and would be overjoyed to bring a sweet little one into our family!

We met in 2015 through John's brother and Melissa's friend (they are now married too) who helped set us up on a double date. Quickly we realized that God had brought us into each other’s lives and that we were soul mates. We got married in 2017 and can truly say that we are each other’s best friend! Although we struggled for years with infertility and we are unable to have biological children, we believed all along that God had a greater plan for us and has been leading us to adoption.

We are a fun, loving couple! Our whole family is super supportive and they are so excited to have another baby in the family who they can spoil and love! Our 11 nieces and nephews can’t wait for another cousin (2 of them will be adopted very soon).

We love Jesus, each other, our family, the beach, tea & coffee, home cooked breakfast on Saturday mornings, movie nights with popcorn, gardening in our backyard, hiking outdoors, paddle boarding & kayaking, listening to music throughout the house, and celebrating birthdays & holidays together, especially Christmas.

John is a dedicated husband and genuine. He works as a welder/fabricator for a local company.

John is an incredible husband and my best friend! From the moment I first met him, I felt at home and that I could truly be myself. He makes me laugh every day with his silly ways or something he does just to make me smile. He knows how to make the best out of tough situations. He is an amazing provider and has such a strong drive to take care of his family. He is very handy around the house and if he doesn't know how to fix something he's ambitious to learn. John has the kindest heart, which is one of the reasons I fell in love with him. I see how great he is with children and as an uncle…they all love him! John is very patient and has a gentle way about him. I can't wait for him to be a dad because he is going to be amazing at it! He is fun and adventurous, always bringing out the best in me. We make a great team and can't wait to welcome a beautiful child into our family!

Melissa is a devoted wife and warmhearted. She works as a sign language interpreter in a variety of settings, including education, community, and medical.

What I love most about Melissa is how kind she is and how comfortable I am around her! She is a beautiful wife inside and out! I love how she is a great listener and tries to see things from others' perspective. She has such a huge heart and nurturing way about her. I know she will be an amazing mom because of all the experience she has working with and being around children. She is an awesome cook and is always making tasty meals or baking up something delicious. Melissa has a calming way about her. I can always talk to her about anything. She does so much for our family and is very selfless. I enjoy spending quality time together no matter what we are doing, even if it's washing the dishes or going on a walk in the evening. Melissa has so much love to give, not just to me, but to our future child. I'm excited to become parents with her on this journey!

ABOUT melissa

We live in a quiet, safe, family friendly neighborhood in northeast Ohio.

We live in a rural suburb with great neighbors who we know well. Our home is cozy, warm, and a place we can relax. We have a fenced in backyard, swing set, bonfire pit where we roast s'mores often in the summer time, and raised gardens where we plant lots of vegetables. We are so blessed to have our family and friends live within an hour of us and a few live right around the corner. We are close to many parks, hike and bike trails, shopping areas, and local attractions.

Our faith is an integral part of our lives. We are active members of a local church. We are also part of a married couples group through our church that we participate in many activities with.
