Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us and consider us in your adoption plan. We believe your courage is amazing and are so grateful for this opportunity.
As we hope you will see in these pages, we are filled with love for each other and our community of people. We are strive to bloom where we are planted, and we work to not take anything in life for granted.

Emma grew up in the Chicago suburbs, and Kevin grew up in the Cleveland suburbs.
We met in 2013, when we lived in the same apartment building in Peoria, Illinois. After some literal missed connections, we wound up going on our first date in November 2013, and have been together ever since.
Our relationship grew and we got married in 2017 in Normal, Illinois (the wedding invites said "just a Normal wedding" - we were happy with that joke!).
We made the decision to move to Cleveland to be closer to Kevin's family, and bought our house in 2020. In 2022, Emma's parents moved near us, and are now less than 10 minutes away.
We are very lucky that our families and our community of friends live nearby. Your child would be welcomed by all of them with open arms and loving hearts.
ABOUT US
Kevin is the goofiest, most loving, most lovable and best life partner I could ask for.
He is super passionate and driven, but still loves to joke and laugh. He is welcoming and friendly with everyone in the neighborhood, at work, in the Barbershop Harmony Society he is the life of the party! But he's still able to slow down with me, snuggle up with our dog, and enjoy a movie and a delicious snack.
Kevin is a kind, patient, and fun uncle and godfather to the little ones in our life. I know he will be a wonderful father!

Emma is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
She is kind, fierce, patient, passionate, caring, tender, joyful, empathetic, and fun, all rolled into one. One of my favorite things about Emma is how deeply she feels. She is unafraid to display her passions (gardening, houseplants, Halloween, movies, etc.), loves her friends dearly, and takes the time to connect with people on their level.
Emma also has the ability to quickly build connection and create a safe space for others. She will be an excellent caretaker and mother, and I am so honored to be her partner.

ABOUT Emma
We have a modestly sized home with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a garage, and a fenced in backyard with multiple garden beds.
We're just outside of Cleveland, within walking distance of playgrounds, parks, and schools and a little longer walk gets us to Lake Erie!
Our city is a very diverse and artistic community that holds a variety of outdoor events like movies in the park, arts festivals, and more.
We have one pet, a 15 pound miniature pinscher beagle mix named Blu. He just turned eight years old and is a total cuddle bug.
Kevin gets his 'big dog' fix by volunteering with City Dogs, the adoption program that is part of the City of Cleveland animal control organization.
