We love to celebrate the big and little moments of life with the people we love and good food!

We met in 2013 and spent hours discussing our shared love for food, travel, and each other on our very first date. Together we enjoy traveling, cooking, exercising, and spending time with our dogs. We enjoy attending and hosting theme or holiday parties with friends and family such as ‘friendsgiving’ for Thanksgiving or a chili cook off for New Years Eve. We can’t wait to celebrate and create new traditions with our own family. We have faced challenges to grow our family including the loss of our daughter Romy. We have always wanted to be foster parents and have loved supporting kids in the community in this way. We are also pursuing adoption to grow our family and look forward to this next step.

Erik loves to learn, work out, cook and build!

Erik works in business-to-business sales in the manufacturing industry and enjoys the flexibility of working from home. His ability to connect with others helps him succeed at work and also with a group of trusted lifelong friends. He enjoys all things outdoors, as well as reading and learning. On a given weekend, you might find him watching a how to video to learn a new skill like building our deck or building a retaining wall for our backyard. He loves to learn new facts and skills, this makes him a hands-on dad and a great teacher and role model. As a foster dad and uncle, he’s always ready to have fun and get silly, especially during a dance party!

Jenna loves to teach, garden, hike and practice yoga!

Jenna works as a behavior analyst, helping children with Autism and their families. She works in schools and the community to support her students learn new academic and adaptive skills as well as reduce challenging behavior. Her role is a hybrid position, so she has the flexibility to support our family. She has a passion for teaching through play, highlighted by her impressive toy collection. Jenna is empathetic and loves making others feel understood. On a given weekend, you might find her gardening, doing yoga, or hiking with the dogs.

Building our new dream home!

We live downtown in a remodeled 100 year old home and have enjoyed the convenience of city life. Our dream home is in progress and will be built on our beautiful wooded lot with a pond. We are looking forward to slow mornings, drinking coffee on the deck and playing with the dogs and kids outside on the weekend. Jenna has big plans for the play room and Erik will have a shop with more room for projects. Our dogs are also dreaming of the new house. Indy and Ellie love walks and swimming, they are both great with children.
