Danielle Timmons
Danielle graduated from The Ohio State University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. Since graduating, she has immersed herself in the field of child welfare through both her professional and personal life. Her experience includes serving as a caseworker, foster care recruiter, and group home staff member, while also dedicating herself personally as a treatment foster parent and volunteer CASA advocate. Danielle joined the team as a Wendy’s Wonderful Kids Recruiter in May 2026.
Danielle has nearly four years of experience in ongoing casework with both Richland County Children Services and Ashland County Department of Job & Family Services, where she worked to promote safety, stability, and permanency for children and families. She also worked within an independent living group home setting, assessing and documenting youth progress to strengthen advocacy efforts and support successful transitions into adulthood. Most recently, Danielle supervised a team focused on foster and adoptive parent recruitment and retention through a Department of Children & Youth grant at the YWCA of Northwest Ohio, helping increase the number of foster and adoptive homes across Northwest and Central Ohio while strengthening support for existing resource families.
Danielle is deeply passionate about advocating for children and ensuring every child she encounters understands they are more than the trauma they have experienced. She strongly believes in a child-centered, strength-based approach and is committed to helping youth recognize their value, resilience, and potential. Danielle often lives by the quote from Josh Shipp: “Every child is one caring adult away from being a success story.”
