At Caring For Kids, Inc., we take pride in our social work, and are deeply commited to our clients, both families and children.

To ensure you receive unparalleled support throughout your adoption journey, we offer a comprehensive range of services for adoptive parents. Our team is equipped to conduct evaluations of birth parents and gather their histories directly, benefiting not only expectant parents but also attorneys and agencies outside Ohio that collaborate with them. The cost for these assessments varies based on the required services and the birth parent's location.

Assistance for Pre-Identified Birthmothers

Should you already have a connection with a birthmother, our agency is ready to guide you through the completion of your adoption. This partnership means you'll gain from our team's expertise, ensuring both you and the birth parents receive the essential support and counseling necessary for a positive outcome.

Broader Adoption Support

Public Adoption Search Services

Even if you’re pursuing adoption through a legal representative, Caring For Kids can still offer educational programs, home study services, and post-placement support, with fees reflective of the services and support level you need.

Working with Us and Other Agencies

Fees for Private Infant Adoption

For families with an approved Ohio home study interested in adoption, we provide search services to help find children across the United States fitting your desired profile. We can also coordinate with other agencies to enhance your chances of finding a match.

Working concurrently with us and another agency is an option. By signing a release, you can allow them to share your home study with us. If our team believes we can support your family’s search effectively, you can continue your efforts with both agencies until a successful match is found.

Upon finding a match through Caring For Kids, transferring to our agency might be necessary for comprehensive support to finalize the adoption. If a match comes from a different agency, simply inform us, and we will conclude our search, allowing you to focus on the placement with the other agency.

For children aged eight and above, our search services are offered without a fee. Families looking to adopt children from zero to eight years old should contact us for detailed fee information.

Opting for our Private Infant Adoption program means our staff will dedicate their efforts to match your family with a baby that meets your preferences.

If you're already associated with a different agency, a simple release of information will allow them to provide us with your home study. If we find we can support your search, you’ll join our search program. Along with your home study, we ask for four copies of your family profile book and introduction letter for potential birth parents.

Joining the infant search program incurs a fee. Once we receive your documents and the fee, you will be officially enrolled in the program.

*Note: There may be times when the program reaches capacity, and we cannot accept new families. Although we strive to accommodate families from other agencies as much as possible, there are instances when limitations prevent us from doing so due to the volume of active searches.
